Service and maintenance

To avoid production downtimes, we offer, as a new service, inspections / maintenance of magnetic clamping systems with regard to:

Operational safety

Functional safety

Occupational health and safety

Machine and product safety

Accident and damage prevention

The checks include:

Electrical check

Electrical measurement of the coil resistance

Electrical measurement of the insulation resistance

Adhesion test of the magnetic chuck

Check of the quality of the demagnetization, optimization if necessary

Check of the electrical connections

Check of the function of the polarity reversal control unit

UVV testing of magnetic lifting devices

according to DIN EM 13155 / VDE 0580 / DGUV Rule 109-017:

Our exams

Have the nominal holding force of the lifting magnet checked at least once a year by the manufacturer or an authorized supplier in accordance with DIN EN 13155:2009. Observe accident prevention regulations. All test items receive a test certificate from us with the test results. If the test is passed, your test item will receive the required marking.

If the test fails, we will provide you with a quote including the necessary spare parts for our repair upon request. If a repair is not economically viable, we will offer you replacement parts as an alternative.

Discard criteria

Below is a list of common criteria for disposal:

These test specimens may NO longer be used!!!

* Without or illegible nameplates

* Deformations on the housing

* Excessive wear

* Breaks, cracks, cuts, notches, excessive corrosion on the housing

* Unauthorized tampering with the lifting equipment

Finally, a qualified acceptance report is created based on the results of the inspection, which serves as proof (e.g. for QM audits for occupational safety) that operationally relevant values are up to date.

Assembly and commissioning – national and international

Installation work directly at the end customer's site requires mechanical and electrical expertise for magnetic clamping systems. The same applies to initial commissioning, including training of machine operators. We support you, if necessary in collaboration with the machine manufacturer.

Whether within Europe or intercontinental, such as in China, India, or the USA, etc.

In selected regions, our on-site service points are available to resolve problems at short notice if needed.
